Welcome to the Sarah Jones website
Sarah is an Anglican priest and is the vicar of The City Parish of St John The Baptist, Cardiff and an Honorary Canon of Llandaff Cathedral. She was previously Rector of Ross-on-Wye, Walford and Brampton Abbotts in the Diocese of Hereford and was the first person to have made a gender change and then to be ordained by the Church of England.
Sarah speaks to conferences and groups on a range of topics including sex and gender, the intersection of LGBTQIA+ identities and Christianity, social influence, leadership and diversity. She runs Presentation Skills Workshops and is available for meetings, coaching and consultancy on LGBTQIA+ issues and media work.
Before ordination Sarah played on the UK acoustic music scene and folk greats such as Steve Tilston and Clive Gregson have written good things about her music and her performances. Her songs have been recorded by local and national performers alike and she plays a mean guitar.
